About The Adventure Travel Girl

AKA Summer Slevin.

Well, by now you probably already know the basics about me… I love travel, food, marketing, nature, writing, talking, puppies, and you!

But why did I create the Aventure Travel Girl website and blog?
Well, because for as long as I can remember, there has been a voice in my head that says, “How are you going to serve the world, Summer?”

This is it. This is how I can share my passion, experiences, and knowledge (or sometimes, lack thereof) with you, and serve the world in my little way.

I think that travel is one of the few things in the world right now that gets shared appreciation from people from all different backgrounds and connects those who talk about it and have a passion for it. But more than that, it takes you out of your itty bitty little bubble and makes you aware of the stories and experiences all around you. It gives you other people’s perspectives and a taste of different cultures and values.
Travel makes us aware and appreciative of our differences.

Not to be political, but if you hate an entire body of people because of their culture or religion, you haven’t traveled enough. You haven’t connected enough. Open your mind and your heart and see what beautiful and wonderful things the world has to offer.

We all have our own unique gifts and our own unique capabilities to serve the world. My hope is that this blog, and my adventures, will inspire you to find your gifts and we can create a ripple effect of positive change.

So let’s get started now, shall we?
Here’s to our beautiful adventures together!

Ps. I would LOVE to hear from you. Please leave me a comment below, introducing yourself!
