President Trump released his proposal to increase the military’s spending budget on Monday. Trump is proposing an increase of $53 billion into the federal budget specifically for new aircrafts, ships, and fighters. This increase comes at a time when many other programs within the United States are facing massive reductions. The cuts to domestic programs and foreign aid totals $54 billion and would target specific programs such as the Environmental Protection Agency.
